Andros Island Bonefish Club

March 28th – April 4th

Fall is officially here and before you know it another cold New England winter will be at our door. Trade in your shovel for a fly rod and join us this winter on the pristine flats of Andros Island. Andros Island Bonefish Club offers easy access to the famed Bahamas bonefishing of northern Andros. The island is known for its large number of fish but most notably the size of its trophy bonefish. Just imagine starting each morning, ankle deep on a white sand flat, as a double digit bonefish slowly works its way towards you. It can’t be beat!

At Andros Island Bonefish Club, anglers can expect to target large numbers of bones with chances at the trophy fish that make Andros such a famous bonefishing destination.

The Lodge is conveniently situated on the mouth of Carghill Creek at the eastern end of the North Bight of Andros. It is a stone’s throw away from wadeable flats, allowing anglers to enjoy an unusually diverse fishing experience. Flats range from wadeable, hard sand to deeper, soft marl flats. In certain areas, large schools of bonefish are common; in others, anglers are able to target larger singles and doubles. Although rare, we may also have the chance to target resident Tarpon and Permit.

While at Andros Island Bonefish Club, we will be fishing out of 16-foot Dolphin Super Skiffs. Operating each vessel is one of their team of dedicated Bahamaian bonefishing guides. Many of their guides have more than fifteen years of experience guiding on the flats surrounding the lodge.

Each morning a hot breakfast will be served before the day of fishing. On your return, hors d’oeuvres will served before dinner. Meals will consist of classic Bahamian fare. The lodge itself is a modern, comfortable setting on the waters edge. Spacious air conditioned rooms make it a comfortable environment for unwinding at the end of a long day of fishing.

When the snow comes, you’ll be wishing you were in the Bahamas, stalking bonefish on the pristine flats of Andros. Its not too late to join us! Space is limited so give us a call at the shop with any questions and to book your spot now (978) 318 – 0330.
